AcuSpecial : Emotional Disorders

Detailed program:

Morning: Emotional Disorders

Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, lack of joy, snacking, hyper-control, sadness, or other Shen imbalances? These issues cause daily suffering for our patients and can sometimes be extremely intense. They are among the hardest to diagnose and often a real challenge for us practitioners. As Dr. Tan would say, let’s keep it simple. Clarify your diagnosis and boost your confidence in treating emotional disorders.

Afternoon: AcuWorkshop - Advanced Level

The AcuWorkshop is designed for students who wish to deepen their understanding of the Balance Method and master the essential concepts taught in a Si Yuan training. It is an interactive course that combines lectures, clinical case discussions, and live demonstrations. The focus is on step-by-step analysis that supports the logic behind selecting the treatment strategies best suited to each patient.

Each training course is unique! The program and structure are tailored to the participants, so the content may vary.

  • Practice your 1-2-3 acupuncture logic on numerous clinical cases presented by Si Yuan teachers and fellow participants. You are welcome to submit your own case!
  • Master the logic behind selecting the most appropriate treatment strategies, from basic to advanced Balance Method concepts, using real-life examples.
  • Understand why and how to combine multiple strategies and apply different aspects of the Balance Method in a single treatment.
  • Discuss and resolve the challenges you may have encountered in your own clinic.
  • Observe live treatment demonstrations or bring patients for treatment and discover alternative strategies.
  • Learn how to adapt your needling technique to each patient’s condition.
  • Practice needling special points or those generally considered difficult to needle.
  • Enhance your skills with hands-on exercises in small groups under the guidance of an instructor.
  • Engage and exchange with colleagues and teachers, and expand your repertoire of treatment strategies.
  • Build confidence in both your Balance Method logic and your needling technique—you’ll witness real changes in your patients!
