The Balance Method is very popular around the world.
It is practiced by acupuncturists with varying levels of experience and training. Certification allows you to inform and reassure your patients by displaying an official certificate in your clinic that confirms the reliability of your training.
The certification process at each level provides a unique opportunity to assess your skills by writing clinical case studies. For each of your cases, a detailed review from a Si Yuan instructor will shed light on your strengths and highlight areas for improvement.
The certification program gives you the chance to formalize your professional journey and evaluate your practice of the Balance Method. It also offers special access to professional workshops with the Si Yuan teaching team.
Practitioners must have attended a complete Si Yuan AcuCore training at least 1 time. This is equivalent to the previous classes entitled:
Practitioners must have completed the following trainings:
Practitioners must have treated a minimum of 250 patients using the Balance Method. (Please note, 250 patients are required versus only 250 individual treatments)
Practitioners must have practiced the Balance Method for at least 3 years
Practitioners must submit 9 case studies: 4 involving local disorders, 5 involving internal disorders
Continuing education with Si Yuan: Practitioners must attend at least 1 Si Yuan training or event per year to maintain their certification
Application fee of 250€. This covers the verification of the practitioner’s application data, evaluation of their case studies and other material, and the printing and shipping of his their certificate

In addition to all First-Level trainings, practitioners must also complete the following courses:
Practitioners must have treated a minimum of 800 patients using the Balance Method. (Please note, 800 patients are required versus only 800 individual treatments)
Practitioners must have practiced the Balance Method for at least 6 years
Practitioners must submit 9 case studies: 2 involving local disorders, 4 involving internal disorders, 3 involving a mix of internal and local disorders (or “complex cases”)
Practitioners will be interviewed by Si Yuan.
Continuing education with Si Yuan: Practitioners must attend at least 1 Si Yuan training or event per year to maintain their certification
Application fee of 350€. This covers the verification of the practitioner’s application data, evaluation of his case studies and other material, and the printing and shipping of his certificate.

Practitioners must have practiced the Balance Method for at least 6 years
Practitioners must submit 9 case studies: 2 involving local disorders, 4 involving internal disorders, 3 involving a mix of internal and local disorders (or “complex cases”). Required only for practitioners who were not previously certified Middle Level.
Practitioners must have completed at least 40 hours of internship with the Si Yuan Team
Continuing education with Si Yuan: Practitioners must attend at least 1 Si Yuan training or event per year to maintain their certification
Application fee of 550€. This covers the verification of the practitioner’s application data, evaluation of his case studies and other material, and the printing and shipping of his certificate.
