Our classroom setting is designed to make each participant feel included. It maximizes assimilation, interaction, and individual corrections with:

  • Small groups to facilitate teaching and comprehension.
  • Close up needling demos.
  • Time to practice with guidance.
  • All video cameras are turned on to strengthen interaction among participants and teachers
  • Short sessions of maximum 4 hours per day:
    • Optimizes concentration.
    • Avoids computer screen fatigue.
    • Allows time to absorb the lessons before the next session.

Practitioners of all levels and trainings are welcome to attend.

Balance Method prerequisite: AcuCore Local and Global Balance or prior knowledge of the following Balance Method concepts: Acupuncture 1,2,3, Dr. Tan’s 6 systems, Image and Mirror principles, Matrix Analysis, Global Balance, Dr. Tan’s 4 meridian balance patterns for internal disorders.

Balance Method optional knowledge: Some discussions may include the following advanced concepts that will not be covered before hand: Meridian Conversion / Seasonal Balance / Dr. Tan’s 5 Elements

 

AcuSpecial: Let's Focus on Obstetric and Gynecological (OBGYN) disorders

This training aims at discussing different Balance Method strategies to approach obstetric and gynecological disorders.

Participants are encouraged to bring cases from their clinic, the instructor and teacher assistant will also present cases of interest.

  • Discuss & resolve real case studies from your clinic.
  • Apply several of aspects of the Balance Method in one treatment.
  • Clarify how to choose the best strategies in real-life scenarios.
  • Refine your application of Balance Method concepts.

This training environment places emphasis on sharing, brainstorming and creativity.
